7 Day - Perth to Exmouth - Return

Day 1
Perth - Kalbarri
All aboard the Boogie Bus! Upon departure we wave goodbye to the hustle and bustle, the 9 to 5 and traffic lights, and welcome our new adventure. Heading north we connect up with the longest road in the world- Highway 1, and in no time are amongst the seasonal blooms and wilderness. The eeriness of the Pinnacles Desert lures us in and we lose ourselves on foot amid the ancient stone pillars. After lunch on Jurien Bay 's beautiful coast, we hit the road bound for the daredevil sand dunes of Geraldton to test our sandboarding skills. Watching the sun melt before us, we cruise on into Kalbarri , our overnight accomodation.
Day 2
Kalbarri - Monkey Mia
After an early rise and a stretch looking over the Indian Ocean, we take a short drive to the Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. The morning is ours to discover the wonders of Natures Window and the Z-Bend Gorge , and for those who are adventurous, a chance to try your hand at abseiling. (An optional activity with additional cost.) Heading down 150m into the heart of the gorge, we take time out to explore and cool off in the tempting fresh water rock pools. This afternoon, we head towards Shark Bay World Heritage Area, stopping for a swim in the crystal clear waters of Shell Beach . Tonight we reside in luxury, staying at Monkey Mia Dolphin Beach Resort . Watch the sun go down with a glass of your favourite.
Day 3
Monkey Mia - Warroora
Wake up on the world famous Monkey Mia beach to an enchanting sunrise over Peron Peninsula . A unique and magical experience awaits as the resident bottlenose dolphins come in shore to meet the crew. Save a photograph for the cheeky but popular pelicans who make themselves known at feeding times! For the rest of the morning, enjoy Monkey Mia's treasure trove of activities- sail on the Shotover catamaran, take a guided aboriginal walk, hit the beach volleyball, canoe or paddle the calm bay or simply soak up the sun on a quiet stretch of beach. We depart Monkey Mia to explore more of Shark Bays natural wonders with lunch at Hamelin Pool and a visit to the ancient Stromatolites . This afternoon we conquer the North West Coastal Highway with great fun, games and tunes heading towards our night under the stars at Warroora sheep station.
Day 4
Warroora - Exmouth
Ningaloo reef! Today is yours of explore Coral Bay and WA's most spectacular marine life. From snorkelling and diving to quad bikes to scenic flights, Coral Bay has it all. (Optional activities with additional cost.) Kick back and relax, soak up the sun, this is paradise! This afternoon, we take a short drive with the setting sun and reach our northern most destination- Exmouth.
Day 5
Exmouth
Lets explore!
Today begins with a cruise in the Boogie Bus through the beautiful Cape Range National Park down to clamber the cliffs of Yardie Creek . Heading back, we take plenty of time discovering the beauty of the Ningaloo Marine Park . Unforgettable swimming and sunbathing at Turquoise Bay and enchanting sunset views from Vlaming Head lighthouse will leave you with some great memories. Back in Exmouth tonight for the final fiesta until the journey home.
Day 6/7
Exmouth - Perth via Horrocks Beach House
Leaving Exmouth early we begin our journey back to Perth . A fun bus environment and traveling music will see us coast into Horrocks Bay for a well earned swim at dusk. From a beautiful beach balcony setting, you'll enjoy a home cooked meal listening to the ocean on your doorstep. After a morning swim for the brave, we continue south. Passing Greenough Wildlife Park , we get the opporunity to have a close encounter with the south-west Carpet Python and many other little critters. A short drive will see us into the crayfishing town of Dongara where we can stretch out on the grass with lunch with views over the harbour. Passing by the outskirts of Perth we meander through the Swan Valley and taste luscious wines that WA has to offer.
Arriving in Perth about 6pm, you may be keen for a dropoff at one of Northbridge's local bars for a refreshing ale.
